7th Annual Citizen Engagement Seminar in Washington, D.C.
Join public sector experts and technology leaders for a full-day event discussing how agencies are utilizing technology and social media to bridge the gap between agency missions and today's expectation of citizen service, information delivery, and public involvement.
Various communication channels and improved technology have increased citizen expectation for access and information, but citizen engagement is still recognized as primarily one-way and not yet meeting agency expectations. Through open dialog, regular communication, and ease of access, the vision of two-way engagement can be realized and ultimately improve agency performance.
