Reston, VA—February 21, 2014 -- Carahsoft Technology Corp, the trusted government IT solutions provider, announced today that it has received the 2014 Gold Stevie Award for Government Sales Team of the Year. The Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service is an annual, international competition meant to recognize excellence in sales, customer service and call/contact center professionals worldwide. The award was presented to Carahsoft at the 2014 Stevie Award gala in Las Vegas.

This is the third year in a row that Carahsoft has earned a Gold Stevie award. In 2013, Carahsoft received the Gold Stevie award for Government Sales Team of the Year, and in 2012 received the Gold Stevie Award for Sales Department of the Year: Computer Services.

“On behalf of our government customers, partners, and team members, Carahsoft is honored to accept this award again,” said Craig P. Abod, president of Carahsoft. “We pride ourselves on being a proactive sales and marketing company, and this award celebrates our success in these areas.”

Carahsoft was founded in 2004 and earned more than $1.7 billion in revenue in 2013. The company serves as the largest government partner for many of the industry’s leading software manufacturers including VMware, Adobe, Symantec, Red Hat, HP, SAP, EMC and F5 Networks among others.

“Entries to the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service awards have almost doubled over the past few years,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “Not only have we seen a dramatic increase in the number of entries; but the judges have also seen a remarkable rise in the quality of the nominations submitted overall. We congratulate all of this year’s Stevie winners for their outstanding work.”
