Carahsoft Ranks Among Top Ten Revenue Producers on 2014 Inc. 500/5000

7th Consecutive Year on List and Largest Revenue Producer in Virginia

RESTON, Va.—October 1, 2014--Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, today announced it has been recognized by Inc. magazine as one of the nation’s fastest growing, privately held companies for the seventh consecutive year. The 2014 Inc. 500/5000 rankings were based on percentage of revenue growth when comparing 2010 to 2013.

With 2013 revenue of $1.7 billion, Carahsoft was among the top ten largest revenue producers out of the overall list of 5,000 companies. The company also was the largest revenue producer in its category, government services, and for Virginia. Carahsoft was once again on this year’s Honor Roll, which recognizes companies who have appeared on the list for at least five years. Over the past three years, Carahsoft has grown at a rate of 107 percent and has increased its number of employees by 132 percent.

“Carahsoft is honored to be recognized once again among the nation’s fastest growing, privately held firms,” said Craig P. Abod, president of Carahsoft, which provides information technology solutions to the public sector market. “We share this honor with our technology partners and resellers whose support makes our strong performance possible.”

Inc. president and editor-in-chief Eric Schurenberg added, "What surprises me, even though I know it’s coming, is the sheer variety of the paths our entrepreneurs take to success, thematically reflecting how our economy has evolved. But what doesn’t change is the fearsome creativity unleashed by American entrepreneurship.”
