Company Is Second Fastest Growing Firm Among 100 Top Revenue Producers

Reston, VA – October 5, 2010 –Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, today announced that it has been recognized as the second fastest growing firm among the Top 100 largest revenue producers on the Inc. 5000 list for 2010. This is Carahsoft’s third consecutive appearance on the annual list which is an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private firms.

Carahsoft’s 2009 revenue of more than $585 million and its three-year growth rate of 543% percent placed the company at #564 on the Inc. 5000. Carahsoft also ranked #19 among the Top 100 companies by gross dollars of growth, and among the top 20 percent of the Government Services sector which showed the biggest gain in terms of numbers of companies on the list.

The 2010 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2006 to 2009. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by June 30, 2006. Additionally, they had to be based in the United States, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2009.
